my home sweet home @ new year's day

元旦は実家で家族みんなが集まり

おせち料理を囲み、昼から夜まで食べ続けました。

正月から気合はいりまくりで２０１１年スタート〜。

Osechi-ryori are specially-prepared New Year's dishes to be eaten during the first three days of January. Most dishes are cooked in order to be preserved for at least three days so women don't have to cook during that period. Various kinds of beautifully-prepared dishes are set lacquer boxes. 

This is Japanese traditional way.

Osechi-ryori are so beautiful.

実家に帰るたびに増える父の作品たち。

Every time I visit my parent's house 

I see more my father's  works of stained glass

everywhere .

 it's starting from the ceiling  to....

天井から始まり、、

壁に今年の干支、うさぎくん時計も発見し、

to the door ( this is from Jean Cocteau's design)

これは前からだけどジャン・コクトーのドアもあり、

and on the floors.

床にはすべてお見せできませんが、

ランプがずらっと並んでいたりします。

Also this is the sketch of his traveling on the hallway

廊下の壁にはモン・サン・ミシェルのスケッチです。

His works plans to be glowing.
